Much has been said about Tanqueray’s Flor De Sevilla gin. The 180-year old brand released its latest gin earlier this year, and it’s been flying off the shelves and filling up my Instagram feed ever since.
Seville oranges are behind the stunning amber colour, which couldn’t be further from the legendary emerald green bottles that it shares the historic name with.
As soon as you open the bottle you’re transported to the Mediterranean. The beautiful and not at all sickly smell of the oranges drawing you in delicately while not eclipsing the juniper.
Flor De Sevilla is smooth even when neat and with tonic and a slice of orange you’ve got yourself a perfect summer G&T. I can’t wait to get experimenting with it in other cocktails.
If you’re after something refreshing and delicious to cool down with this summer, and don’t want to break the bank, then this latest offering from Tanqueray is most definitely the gin for you.
At the time of writing it’s Amazon UK’s top selling gin, and at only £20 a bottle you can see why!
Check out my other gin blog posts including Gwyr Gin, Giniversity Gin, Graveney Gin, and other non-alliterative things too.
